Big Lake Spud Fest

As the warm winds of spring whisk away the snows of winter, it can only mean Big
Lake’s Spud Fest is just around the corner!
In its 37th year and getting bigger and better all the time, we, the Spud Fest board, are
again asking the area business community to lend a hand in making it a great success.
Without the contributions donated by your business, Spud Fest would not be able to return
the many thousands of dollars it does each year. Without these funds that are given to the
area youth, civic and not-for-profit organizations, many of the events our children as
well as ourselves attend would not exist.
With the economy “a tough row to hoe” this year, Spud Fest is asking our
business leaders to dig a little deeper into their pockets. With Spud Fest attendance
being over 12,000 in the four days it runs, we suggest a “bang for your advertising
buck.” So…we are introducing a new sponsorship program this year!
Our new Adopt-a-Ride Program allows you/your company to choose a carnival ride and for a
donation of $150.00, a poster designed with your company information will be displayed at
the entrance to the ride for the entire festival!
We are also seeking sponsors for the main stage and parade bands, Spud Run motorcycles
run, get “baked” pub crawl, Pot-O-Spuds and others! And, as always, donations
are needed for Bingo prizes and raffles.

My trivia question to you is this: “what never costs a penny yet is priceless?”
